Product Overview & Advanced Microstructure
Engineered for critical gas venting, liquid clarification, and aggressive chemical filtration, our expanded PTFE (ePTFE) filter membranes deliver outstanding flow rates and absolute particle retention. Utilizing a biaxially stretched fibrillar microstructure, these microporous membranes feature high porosity, narrow pore size distribution, and exceptional mechanical stability.
Our PTFE membranes are supplied in versatile formats, including continuous master rolls, precision pre-cut disc filters, pleated sheets, and fully encapsulated filter cartridges. Available in both naturally hydrophobic versions for air/gas venting and solvent filtration, and specially surface-treated hydrophilic versions for aqueous solution filtration without pre-wetting.
Key Performance Advantages
-
Broad Chemical Compatibility: Chemically inert across pH 1–14, resisting aggressive acids, strong bases, and organic solvents without degradation or extractable shedding.
-
High Porosity & Airflow: Micro-fibrillar node-and-fibril structure provides up to 80–90% porosity, maximizing flow rates and lowering differential operating pressure.
-
Extreme Thermal Endurance: Operating temperatures up to 260°C (500°F); fully compatible with autoclave, inline steam (SIP), and dry heat sterilization protocols.
-
Absolute Particle Retention: Precise pore ratings guarantee high separation efficiency for dust, particulates, bacteria, and aerosol contaminants.
-
Flexible Format Options: Available unbacked (pure ePTFE) or laminated onto polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PET) non-woven supports for enhanced mechanical strength and pleatability.

-
Chemical Processing: Fine filtration of aggressive acids, alkalis, photoresists, and high-purity chemical reagents.
-
Environmental & Gas Sampling: High-temperature flue gas sampling, ambient air quality monitoring, and particulate emissions testing.
-
Industrial Filtration Cartridges: Converted into pleated membrane cartridges for water treatment, beverage clarification, and semiconductor ultra-pure water (UPW) systems.
Quality Control, Inspection & Cleanroom Packaging
-
Light-Box & Surface Inspection: 100% optical light-box surface scanning ensures zero pinholes, tears, structural inconsistencies, or foreign contaminants.
-
Integrity & Bubble Point Testing: Strict quality sampling verifies bubble point pressure, airflow resistance, and thickness consistency across every roll batch.
-
Cleanroom Packaging: Standard production and conversion are conducted in cleanroom environments. Products are sealed in dual dust-free blister trays and poly sleeves, then packed in protective cartons to guarantee purity during transport.
